Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of an elephant. Apart from world's endangered One Horned Indian Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tiger anywhere. Kaziranga National Park is also a bird watcher's paradise and home to some 500 species of Birds. We will return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon we proceed for a jeep safari. Evening come back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga National Park. Note: Elephant rides and timings are decided by the Kaziranga National Park Management. We do not have any control on the booking. Elephant Rides and Jeep Safari are subject to availability.
After breakfast, proceed to Shillong, also called Scotland of the East coast. Reach the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani). You may do the watersports here (at your own cost). On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening you can visit Police Bazaar which is the biggest local market. Overnight stay at Shillong.
After an early breakfast drive to Cherrapunji, this is the wettest place in the world. Here you will visit Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park. Evening return to Shillong.Overnight stay in Shillong.
After breakfast, visit Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures, Ward's Lake where you can enjoy boating, Cathedral Catholic Church and Lady Hydari Park. Then take the transfer to the Guwahati. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple (Timings 08 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm) and other Temples in Guwahati namely Purva TirupatiShri Balaji Temple, Umananda Temple at the Peacock Island which is the smallest inhabited River Island in the World,Nabagraha Temple, Assam state museum, State zoo cum Botanical Garden. Later return to the hotel. Evening you can visit Brahmaputra River Cruise (Direct payment by own) Overnight stay in the Guwahati.
Post breakfast check out from the hotel and take transfer to the Guwahati airport/railway station for your onward journey.
