The day starts with a visit to Tiger hill (Subject to availability of Permit / Token) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. World’s third highest peak). On your way back we see Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling covering - Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self help Centre (closed onSunday), Tea Garden (outer view). Rest of the day is free or on your own. Stay overnight at Darjeeling.
Post breakfast visit to Mirik. It is around 40 KM away from Darjeeling. A number of tea gardens producing the famous Darjeeling tea are located in and around Mirik. Sumendu Lake - It is the heart of Mirik. There is an 80-ft (24-m) long footbridge over the lake. One can boat in the lake or take a horse ride around the lake (On direct payment Basis).Later you return to Hotel. Stay Overnight at Darjeeling.
